It is thought that art-related subjects are as valuable as other school subjects, especially at the junior stage. I do agree with this thought, because art helps young students to discover their potential and it helps boost their confidence.
One reason why I believe that music and liberal arts are important is that it helps children to know themselves better and discover their potential in such a young age, as they don’t have a lot of responsibilities and their exams are much easier. Liberal arts are ways of expressing the person’s emotions and feelings. It is also a way to express your culture and traditions.
Moreover, liberal arts helps young student to be more confident, as it boosts their confidence when they sing or play a role on theatre in front of audience. This confidence doesn’t just help them in acting or playing well, it’s an essential skill for them to help overcome life challenges and obstacles. I believe that governments should care for raising the awareness about the importance of music and liberal arts, and how it affects our life and pushes us to achieve our goals and be better versions of ourselves. Art, poetry and music is what we live for. Nietzsche once said life is a mistake without music.
