These days an increasing number of top-ranking universities around the world charge overwhelming tuition fees, justifying this by stating that getting tertiary education is a personal desire. Personally, I tend to claim that that affordable education has a positive impact on society and needs to be sponsored. In this essay I am going to speculate on this issue and give reasons for my opinion.
To begin with, every educated individual contributes to the country development. That is to say that the state economy undergoes hefty growth due to the abundance of qualified workforce. People with higher education work more effectively, which consequently leads to benefits in the financial situation in general. For instance, Germany, being one of the most progressive countries, provides free university programs and, consequently, recoups the study expenses through perspective employees producing. Thus, such a deliberate approach results in the development of a country.
Another evidence for my opinion can be provided by the fact that pervasive education accelerates innovation development. What I mean is that cutting-edge technologies can be considered as a result of a diligent specialist work. We wouldn’t have been able to use up-to-date gadgets or relevant medical treatment if the experts had not obtained their degrees. Therefore, we should acknowledge that education of individuals allows society to utilize essential devices and services.
Taking everything mentioned above into consideration, I confess that an education is profitable not only for a graduate but for society in general. Life-making technologies that are effectively produced on a daily basis by numerous qualified employees are the result of long-term studies. Thus, it is not prudently to shift the cost of tuition to the student.
