Fashion industry may have a positive effect on environment protection because some brands use new environmental friendly materials, the production of them can consume less energy and reduce waste, if every business use new green materials, it will reduce the damage of environment. Meanwhile, when some sellers can recycle old clothes, people can bring this clothes back to stores, therefore, business can create new products and saving many resources and materials, it is good for protecting environment.
But fashion industry must have many bad impact on the environment, because it makes people always to buy many new clothes and throw away old clothes, so it causes material consumption and waste. In addition, the production of these clothes release many chemicals in the soil and river, such as coal and fuels, it causes air quality decline and environment pollution if brands encourage people to buy new clothes frequently.
