One part of scientists believes that communicating with the inhabitants of other planets would be a great idea, while another part of scientists believes that it would be dangerous for us and would have bad consequences. But in my opinion, I think that sooner or later it will happen. We must be ready to communicate with them and have clear goals when interacting with them.
Communicating with other inhabitants of other planets sounds scary and mind-blowing. Because no one knows what might happen. If we communicated with them, we would have more innovative technologies and progress. We could travel to other planets and do more research, then our knowledge would improve.
But, on the other hand, perhaps these creatures would not help us and would want to colonize our planet. Then humanity would be in great danger. We would be their slaves and work for them. That sounds terrible.
In conclusion I want to say that firstly we have to have clear goals when communicate with them. We have to have answers for questions like why we will do that, what kind of research scientists will do and which our the most important goal is when communicating with beings on other planets. And secondly, we must have technologies with which we can protect ourselves and be ready for all outcomes of events. Because without this it will be foolishly and pointless.
