Cell phones are excessively being used by pupils nowadays. Because parents are quite busy themselves and they want to keep the pupils busy as well so they will give them phones to keep them busy. In my opinion, it is a positive development as it will allows the toddlers to access some educational apps.
Parents give phone to their children to keep them entertained. This is because they need to finish some staff which need to be done, so they give them phones to keep them occupied, without being distracted by them. As parents have alot to do for example cooking dinner for their families which demand concentration and time, so if they are taking care of their toddler it’s not possible or easy for them, that’s why it is easy for them to keep their pupils entertained via phones. So they can finish it without any distractions.
Parents give their pupils cell phones to keep them entertained. In my opinion, it’s a positive thing as it will help pupils learn through educational apps. As nowadays there are a lot of educational platforms for toddlers to learn from. For example there are quite a bit of YouTube channels lately to teach them basic things like colours, alphabet, numbers this that and other. Hence, this can be a useful resource for a child.
To sum up, parents give their phones to keep them busy and occupied and it can be a good things as children’s are learning through these applications.
