People can now predict, for example, the way that rivers will change their shapes and the impact factories make on Earth’s ozone layer, which is known for being the shield between the scorching hot sun’s beams and the life of the planet.
Secondly, if humans fail to preserve Earth in its habitable form, scientists will be able to find planets that might have atmospheres perfectly fitting for Earth life forms. For example, the American company named SpaceX is well known for its willingness to make Mars a next home for humans by making space stations there to support humans with oxygen, water, and other resources needed for human life. However, people often argue about this idea, saying that it is very unlikely to come true, but governments are still spending a lot of money to support it. Some say that this money could be used to feed the starving or to give homes to the homeless.
In conclusion, space exploration is a very ambitious idea that is sometimes helpful, yet too expensive. Many NASA projects were failures, even after spending millions of dollars to support them, so one can definitely argue about the spending it entails. On the other hand, there were many other projects that proved to change the way humans live, such as GPS satellites that help to find the right route when needed.
