Students are more dependent on the Internet. The Internet is useful for students, but it also has many negative effects, and its use for educational purpose should be restricted. I fully agree with this opinion.
I agree with the opinion that Internet is useful but also may causes some negative effects. For example, in China, students are not allow to use Internet when they are learning. So many students only answer the answer from the book when they are during an exam and also their opinions lock in the books. They can’t get more new information or more comprehends that someone answered on the Internet and also students need more time for searching the books and then reading the books, even sometimes they need to change another book for a better answer. That will lost lots of times.
Moreover, in Canada, we don’t have to use books when we are learning. If you have some problems, you can search on the Internet if you want and also you can search from the books. They even allow you to use chatgpt sometimes and it means that you will not cost so many times on learning. You can quickly finished your work and then learn something you like or you want. Although they allow you to use for greater efficiency, but still a lot people use chatgpt when they should not use it such as making a presentation. The school has some rule that if they find that you are cheating they will give you some punition actions, but you can still just change a few words or quotes to make sure that they can’t find it.
As a conclusion, using Internet when we are learning is helpful for students, but also has many negative effects. It’s like a sword that have two edges, it help you a lot and more helpful then a normal sword, but also may hurt yourself if you are not using in a correct way.
