At present, students are utilizing mobile phones for getting access to large amount of data. It is argued that mobile phones should not be permissible to students in the classroom. This essay agrees with this statement because, this may hamper their concentration and the dependency on this device may increase.
Mobile phones work as a hindrance on the way of proper concentration in studies. In the educational institution it is quite necessary for students to properly understand all the lessons taught by teachers. Without the proper attention a students may not be able to learn all the topics that may lead to a disastrous results. A recent study found that, most of the students faces lack of motivation to do any task due to their high screen time.
Moreover, attachment to mobile phone can cause harm in social skills of students. A school environment plays as a social environment practicing site for a young individual. By meeting different kinds of people they learn the skill of handling communication with different type of pupils. If a student is busy with mobile phones all the time then he barely spends sometimes with his friends. This may lead detrimental effect on the mental growth of children.
In conclusion, school need to manage a social, co-operative and educative environment to serve for their learner. However, mobile phones can be used under proper supervision of parents.
