As studies illustrate that prisoners do not have high education level. We should educate them because they can work when they leave prison. I completely agree with this assertion for several reasons that I will mention in this essay.
The primary reason is that educating prisoners will help lower crims in the future. Most of the crimes are created because of the rising unemployment rates. When inmates are educated, it will improve their self-worth and mental well-being, which are essential for successful reintegration into society. Improving these skills will make criminals avoiding commit crimes because they are able to work like other individuals. For example, if inmates work as a lawful employment, they will not encourage their friends to commit crimes, which will reduce crimes in the future.
Moreover, another reason is that setting up education programs for inmates will build their confidence and reduce the risk of reoffending among prisoners. Educating prisoners will foster a sense of purpose, which can deter them from re-engaging in criminal activities. For instance, if burglaries are educated, it can increase their confidence and career skills, which can lead to employment. For instance, some criminals such as burglaries as they can earn money through working, they would avoid of reoffending criminal activities. This cost-effective approach can increase security among residents, developing the standard people’s lives.
In conclusion, l firmly believe that this approach that we should educate inmates is truly effective to increase security of our society, by decreasing criminal activities and preventing criminals to reoffend. Because these prisoners would be able to have a stable job and receive money instead of burglaries or committing crimes.
