As studies illustrate that prisoners do not have high education level. We should educate them because they can work when they leave prison. I completely agree with this assertion for several reasons that I will mention in this essay.
The primary reason is that educating prisoners will help lower crims in the future. Most of the crimes are created because of the rising unemployment rates. When inmates are educated, it will improve their self-worth and mental well-being, which are essential for successful reintegration into society. Improving these skills will make criminals avoiding commit crimes because they are able to work like other individuals. For example, if inmates work as a lawful employment, they will not encourage their friends to commit crimes, which will reduce crimes in the future.
Moreover, another reason is that setting up education programs for inmates will build their confidence and reduce the risk of reoffending among prisoners. Educating prisoners will foster a sense of purpose, which can deter them from re-engaging in criminal activities. For instance, if burglaries are educated, it can increase their confidence and career skills, which can lead to employment.
