Because of the poor level of prisoners’ education, some individuals believe that it is essential to bring education into jails, which can help them to find a job in the future after leaving prisons. I firmly agree with this statement, as this approach can expand the horizon and develop skills that are important for work. In addition, many jobs require a certificate which is mainly given after passing the educational courses.
Firstly, educating criminals improves their view of life and makes them more academical. This is due to the fact that educational programs contain a significant number of materials that are essential for offenders to become a good person, and such knowledge that they do not know. By suggesting this opportunity, national leaders can be almost sure that criminals will get a job after the correctional facility term. For example, recent study in the USA has shown that many lawbreakers, who studied before they left jails, have found a job much easier than those who do not. Consequently, studying in prison is one of the most important step to find an appropriate job.
In addition, usually work managers require some documents that teacher provides after passing their lessons, so if prisoners want to work and have a good salary, they must complete these educational courses to get a diploma. Because it shows how a person is prepared for work, and thus offenders should be tested in different skills, such as writing academic essays, understanding articles, and analyzing graphs. For instance, Apple or other technology related companies always require a certificate that illustrates a person’s knowledge about physics and economics. As a result, after completing academic programs, criminals get a considerably important document that will help to be hired.
In conclusion, I agree with giving an education to criminals to improve their character and have well-prepared employees.
