In this period of competition, many student are going abroad for higher studies and want to fulfil their dreams because of benifits they get their. However they have to face many difficulties and challenges during the study process. Many people argue that it is better to study in the home country. I totaly disagree with this statements because of the chances and self developments skills the student may developed if they if they studies overseas.
It is undeniable that studying abroad opens various chances to develop their skills, both acedemic and social. In terms of acedamic skills, student learns specific subjects which are not available in thier home countries. For example in indonecia there is no mathemetical subject show it should be taken in other countries like U.K. that they also can take internship programme .In which they can develope their working skill. Meanwhile not only learn their subject but also they meet people from different backgrounds. Which eventually shap their social skills. Heance, if student study in other countries they will get numerous positive effect rather than studing in the home country.
Moreever, during the process of studying abroad students might encounter some challenges that lead to self development skills. Firstly, this situation can improve the problem solving skills related to a specific problem they have as an example . When they many face a financial problem during the studies they can overcome the situation by looking for a part time job to get financial support. In addition the problem than they face might developed their critical thinking skills which makes them wiser to take any decision. Which they mightnot face in their home countries.
