Band 4+: Studying the English language in an English-speaking country is the best but not the only way to learn the language.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Many people strongly assume that the best means of leaning English is via academics only and one can excel themselves in the languages like English and be fluent is by attending and leaning English from the countries where the majority of them are speaking are English as their native. In this essay I would like to discuss that I am against this argument and support my view in the discussion.

Firstly, from ages we all assume that only by studying something in a school would only the best method for one to learn the subject to the core. However, I would say NO! We have many more methods and ways to learn skills in our daily activities like making this as a ritual in learning and picking up the skill more efficiently, then the bookish knowledge.

However, let’s just assume that schools in the English speaking countries do well and not at the non-speaking. If the individual is surrounded around his native language and has no interest towards leaning English then he will soak-up that thing only! So, to break this believe that we attend those English-speaking schools in the English speaking countries,

One can do activities like watching English television, go out and socialize ourselves in language play groups, reading books, listening podcasts of our choice, speaking and communicating with different accents speaking people can also help us lean the language across any corner of the globe.

Apparently to learn a skill like a English language, one should have interest to learn with constant practice and never-giving up altitude would always brings us one step close to our goal. It is not always necessary to surround ourselves into books all the time.
