This bar chart demonstrates the top ten countries in producing and using electricity in 2014.

Overall, it is clear that only two of the ten countries recorded very high production and consumption amount of electrical energy. A single country used more electricity rather than producing it.

Looking in more details, China got the top ranking in both the usage and production of electrical energy, for almost 5.3000 billion kWh. Followed by United States of America, that recorded a bit higher production than consumption 4.099 billion kWh for the former and 3.866 for later.

Coming in the third and fourth ranking levels are Russia and Japan, which had no big difference in their consuming and producing. Just around 1.000 billion kWh, 9.000 billion kWh respectively.

India, Canada, France, and Brazil took the 5th to 8th ranking level with no significant gap between electrical using and producing. On the other hand, although Germany produced 526.6 billion kWh it needed more to fulfill its residents. Republic of Korea is the last country on the list producing just 485.1 billion kWh and using around 450 billion kWh.
