Giving choices for children to make decisions and act independently at an early age is crucial. I firmly agree with this view because of its positive sides, such as not being dependent on someone in any situation or improving self-esteem.
One primary reason why I totally agree with this view is that if parents give the chance to do anything independently at a very young age, children will not be so dependent on others’ opinions as they grow older, and they can act easily with their minds. For example, there are different kinds of children at school, and some of them are leaders in their groups or some of them are not. Most of the leader children’s character and behaviour developed by their parents from at an early age at home. People can easily realize this according to their actions. They can lead their other classmates to anywhere, because their leadership skills developed until the school years. For this reason, they can act independently without someone’s opinion.
Another reason why I support this idea is that doing some important tasks or making decisions alone at an early age improves self-confidence in children. They can choose what to eat, what to do, or where to go easily with confidence in any sudden cases. For example, if teachers ask them to come to the stage suddenly in any meeting at school or ask them to sing any song, they can do it easily without any hesitation and depression in front of the public. All of these positive qualities developed by their parents from their very young age. For these reasons I can advoate for the idea that giving to children the chance to act or make decisions alone is important.
In conclusion, children have to be given the chance of doing everything independently from an early age.
