In recents time, it is usually believed living in big cities is harmful for people’s health. In my opinion, I partly agree with this, as there are both advantages and disadvantages to living in urban areas.
First, life in big cities can affect health in negative ways. The air in big cities are often polluted by cars, factories, and other activities. This pollution can cause problems like breathing issues, lung diseases, and allergy. For example, people who live in places with much traffic often deal with smoke and dust. Furthermore, the fast pace of city life creates stress and pressure. Stress affects mental and physical health badly. People in cities might feel tired, anxious, or depress because of their busy lives, long work hours, and no time for relax. Additionally, pollution makes the environment worse for everyone.
On the other hand, there are also good things about big cities that help improve health. Many hospitals, clinics, and fitness centers are there, where people can get good treatment and advice. In other words, when people get sick, they easily find help from doctors and specialists. Big cities also have best machines to check people’s health and give right treatments. People can also join gyms, swimming pools, or parks for exercise.
In conclusion, I partly agree that living in big cities can be bad for health. But it’s true that cities have things to help people stay healthy, like medical care and exercise places. Everyone should think carefully where to live for health and happiness, depending on personal lifestyle preferences.
