Some people belive that teenagers experience academic pressure at schools nowadays. I strongly agree with this statement because of high expectations placed on students and intense competition for university admission.
The main reason is that many students being occupied with their education. This means that it holds a big responsibility to their personal development and strong rivalry. For example, studying for colleges and universities plays a big role in the life of ordinary high school student. As a resulthey will think that if they fail to get into university, they may feel that their future is ruined, moreover, they will be more stressed and will be in a big pressure from the teachers and parents.
Another important reason is that students can perceive a high expectations from their social circle. In other words, it is the main factor for a once cheerful and enthusiastic student to become withdrawn. For instance, they might become less self-confident and may have fear of failure that can lead to a not so good outcome. Therefore, it can also guide to a lot of health problems and emotional stressessuch as depression and loneliness.
In conclusion, i strongly believe that a lot of final year of school students feel academic pressure due to high expectations from parents and teachers, as well asintense competition for university admission. As a result, these factors can affect badly for their mental health and self-confidence.
