In many countries, most of the school system is based on tests and examinations, and it is an indispensible approach. Others believe that it has many side effects. The question at stake is does the educational system have more benefits?
To begin with, tests and exams are extremely significant in the educational system, the first thing is to check the level of information for students, and how they can manage to show his potential. Moreover, the second important aspect about tests, that contribute to increasing competition between students and improve their own knowledge; also, this motivation enables them to be a hard worker, which can help them to resist for a long time until finishing the homework. Additionally, a quiz is the only way to evaluate the level and the potential of a student. For example, in the final year of highschool universities select students through their grades as they have limited places, it is impossible to accept all the requirements of students. On the other hand, many students nowadays study just for the exams not for their knowledge, since they are afraid of their parents or they cannot be accepted in their dream University they may fail. Furthermore, although exams have advantages it also has downsides that may affect students mentally, such as depression or stress of the tests ,which can let most students start smoking ,which is bad for health and lead to some awful problems for a long-term.
To conclude, personally I completely agree that exams outweigh drawbacks; this method is more effective. Therefore, to solve this issue it requires a combination of immediate assistance and ongoing support for students.
