I personally disagree that the average standard of people’s health is likely to decrease in the future. My disagreement is mainly supported by two reasons.
First, researches have been held for years to learn about a healthy lifestyle. These researches are done with various methods and focusing on various approaches, which give us more insight about how to live a healthy lifestyle. By publishing the results and educating the citizens, it can enhance people’s awareness about the ways to maintain a healthy body. Researches may also suggest which ingredients that should be avoided. For instance, cosmetics contained mercury in their product to help the customer achieve the desired look. However, it is now known that mercury is a dangerous substance for our skin and we should not apply it to our body. Therefore, people will be more educated and wiser on choosing the product that they want to use or consume.
Next, the development of technology has alowed people to maintain a healthier life with easier methods. Technologies embedded to sportswear and daily devices are proven to increase people’s motivation to exercise. Games and applications are also built to ease people on managing their activities or even their consumptions. Some apps have the ability to track someone’s water intake and remind them to drink if the system detects dehidration. Gadgets and devices nowadays can be programmed to provide reminders or alerts related to our health. With these technologies, maintaining our health will be much more exciting and efficient.
To conclude, the average standard of people’s health have a trend to increase in the future. This can happen with the support of knowledges from researches and technologies that are developed as time goes on.
