The bar chart gives comparison about the variation in the percentage of people born in and out of Australia, residing in urban,rural and town areas in the years 1995 and 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that the people born in cities-in and outside Australia, form the highest percentage in 1995 as well as 2010 as compared to towns and rural areas.
In 1995, amongst the people born in australia; majority of people were born in cities, about 50%. The people born in rural areas had the second highest percentage of 30%, followed by towns with 20%. Amongst the people born outside Australia, cities still remain at the highest percentage of about 60%, followed by rural areas and towns which have 40% and 10%, respectively.
Cities still remain with the highest percentage in 2010,at 65% and 80% for people born in and out of Australia, respectively. However, in regard to people born in Australia, the percentage of rural areas and towns are the same, whereas in the case of people born outside Australia, towns are seen to have the second highest percentage of almost 10% with rural areas nearing 5%.
