It has been argued that pouring investment into the youth is the most effective way to establish a bright future. While there are some people protesting this opinion, I believe that society should follow this strategy.
The first justification why I support the provided opinion is that young people will be the main labour force in the future. Because of that, providing youngsters with appropriate monetary support and other resources is a wise strategy to enhance our human resources quality in the future. For instance, Japan has spent a huge amount of the national budget, as well as enforcing prominent policies to improve the educational system, establish tertiary schools in the past few decades. As a result, the productivity and the number of professional labour forces have increased radically, resulting in the magical economic growth of the East Asian country. Moreover, the learning and developing ability of the younger people is outstanding compared to the older part. Therefore, concentrating the investment on the future generation is more effective and could receive higher potential success.
Despite these observant positive aspects, there are some protests against this opinion. These groups of people argue that pouring financial support into education and welfare for young people is unnecessary, judging that these resources should be invested in the current imperative professional fields such as doctors, scientists, or architects. To be more precise, these critics point out that providing support to these current groups of workers is the more realistic and immediate path to lay the foundation for our wealth in the future. This is because these people could create needed facilities and inventions, which would be effective equipment for the development of humankind. However, I do not agree that this opposite strategy could bring immediate transformation for society. Because of the progressive time requirements, as well as large monetary investment demand, these investments probably need persistent efforts in a long period of time.
In summary, despite some modest positive side of other strategies, funding the development of young people is more appropriate and sustainable in terms of long-lasting achievement.
