Owing to the problem which is teaching children to cooperate more with each other, it is thought that the key to solving this issue is to incorporate more in team sports at school. I agree that this is one way to tackle the problem, but working in scientific group projects must also be taken into consideration.
One compelling reason why I disagree is that scientific group projects are more beneficial than team sports, this is because educational group project will teach them more than running in sync, but it allows them to learn academic content while developing teamwork skills and learn how to divide the project and distribute the tasks, Therefore, they will gain multiple skills and learn to be professional with deadlines and dealing with other classmates.
Another crucial point to consider is that team sports focus on one specific sport so after all children will learn only one sport. While, academic project usually highlights multiple subjects at one time. In another words, doing a chemistry project will incorporate biology, math and physics so killing two birds by one stone. This not only they are better at emphasizing their listening, communication but also teaching them how to be a group leader.
To conclude, although team sports are a key contributing factor, I strongly agree that scientific projects are more important for children due to its impact on their academic career and mental development.
