One of the primary causes is that people want to look more beautiful or handsome. They think that plastic surgery is the best way to look better. In our modern world, the standarts of beauty is changing every year. Therefore, people who want to look better desire to keep up with beauty standarts. As a result, many individuals tend to change their appearance of face by having plastic surgeries.
Another reason for people to have a plastic surgery is related to health issues. Individuals who have experienced critical accidents such as burning, having a car crash or job accidents choose to undergo surgery as they may lose their arms or they may have huge scratches on their faces. For these reasons, they desire to go under surgery to look more healthy since those accidents can be also harmful to them.
Finally, there are some individuals who have a plastic surgery in order not to get bullied. Especially in middle schools, some kids bully others by saying inappropriate words without thinking. Those kids can tell bad thing about their peers’ physical appearances and bullied children are exposed to thinking that they are actually ugly. When these bullied kids become an adult, it can be still trauma for them to feel ugly. Hence, they have more desirous to have plastic surgery than others.
All in all, it is a fact that the number of people who desire to have a plastic surgery is increasing significantly. They go under plastic surgery to look more attractive, to treat health issues and not to get bullied. These causes can be reasonable or not but it is important that they should love themselves and it is no matter how they appear.
