The line graphs below represent the information about the number of households with electrical appliances like washing machine, refrigerator, and vacuum cleaner and the time spent in household in a country between year 1920 and 2019.

Overall, the first graph, which shows percentage if households with electrical appliances, refrigerator and vacuum cleaner raised in time to time while washing machine too gets increased being decreased in some year. As per second graph, the amount of time spent doing household work showed a downward trend.

In first line graph, the percentage of refrigerator, which was zero in 1920 doubled up and reached a top of 90 percent in 1960 and showed an upward tendency upto 100 percent between 1960 and 1980 and remained constant. Likewise, vacuum cleaner was in 40 percent in initial year 1920 which raised to 100 percent in 2000 and remained same upto final year 2019. In contrast, washing machine also showed an upward trend from 40 percent to 70 between 1920 and 1960 but got slumped to around 60 percent in 1980 and again increased slightly to around 70 in year 2019.

In second line graph, there was only downward trend in the number of hours of housework every week, 50 percent in 1920 collapsed to 20 percent in 1960 and then slightly decreased to around 10 percent between 1960 and 2019.
