People have different views about whether the effectiveness of death penalty for controlling and mitigating dangerous criminals. Personally, although I express a agreement with the way of thinking, there is still another approach for declining the crime rate.
On the one hand, there is a major reason that explains the effectiveness of death penalty for alleviating criminals. Given the fact that death penalty is the most extreme punishment that one criminal sentenced, it helps to raise awareness among citizens about the excessive consequences when they break the law. For example, nowadays Vietnamese citizens are taught about the death penalty when they are in secondary school by lively videos, so these people gain lots of grasp about this punishment and better obese to the law, thereby the number of dangerous crime is less than that in the past when there was no death penalty. As the result, individuals are likely to obese the law and behave properly, thereby decreasing the alarming rate of crime around the world.
Meanwhile, I do contend that this approach is not the best solution for controling criminals, instead I think government should allocate more funding to bolster crucial services namely education. As governmental bodies may pass measures to incoperate ethics in many educational compaigns among community, where all citizens get access to gain comprehensive understanding about law and the impacts of criminals on society’s development. Consequently, individuals become better educated, resulting in less of an incentive for them to commit crimes. Additionally, serious crime can be tackled and controled if the government have a policy to assist residents seeking and having jobs. As, in this day and age , in many slums or depriviledged regions, where people may not be able to afford for their only basic needs such as food, accommodation. Therefore, these people are forced into surviving on their own by any means, even if it means commiting crime.
Inconcluion, death penalty is the effecient way to control and reduce serious crime happening around the society, however; I do not think this is the best way for criminal preservation because there are still other approachs that goverment can implement such as providing educational programs about crime and more job opportunities.
