The cyclical diagram below illustrates the process of recycling plastic bottles, describing every stage from gathering to the final product.
Overall, there are 10 main steps in the process of making recycled bottles, starting with putting waste into containers and concluding with the products being used.
The first step engages plastic containers being collected by a garbage truck to take it to factories, where it will be prepared for recycling. At this stage, we can observe how workers sort the plastic jugs to recognize the suitable types for production. Simultaneously, the bottles are formed into square b;ocks, which are then crushed and ground into smaller pieces. Afterward these pieces are washed in water to clean plastic jars.
Subsequent, this stage is complete, the plastic jars are moved to a specific machine where it is compacted into plastic balls, changing its form. Moreover these pellets are then heated to create raw materials. In the final step, this raw material is used to manufacture products. The final products are delivered to numerous supermarkets and shops, available for customers to buy.
