Education does not only occur in schools. Avenues like family, television and media offer us some opportunities to learn. I strongly believe that learning process that occurs in schools is more significant compared to the ones we learn at home.
On one hand, the family not only teaches domestic activities like sweeping or cooking but moral standards as well. It plays a vital role in learning the difference between good and bad behaviors. However, unfavorable conditions in the house for instance broken homes tend to hinder these teaching practices.
On the other hand, the school gives qualifications to most white-collar jobs. Before entering into professions such as nursing or law, certificates are compulsory required. As a result, academic courses in schools help in achieving our dream careers. Also some managers put more emphasis on the CVS together with testimonials from schools before hiring employees.
Additionally, the school gives the chance to live more independently. Most students at the tertiary level always complete their academic programs away from home either in the same country or even the overseas. Due to this, effective management skills could usually learned and practiced, and will in turn guide them in their entire lives.
Moreover, different cultures and languages are normally taught in school. These increase the student’s knowledge and insights, and consequently, expand their cultural and linguistic horizon. To demonstrate, my friend was able to speak French fluently when he underwent a course in Paris because he studied languages in high school.
To conclude, education in schools is more beneficial as it gives qualifications in securing jobs as well as offers the chance to learn good management skills, unlike family education. Therefore, I suggest individuals must keep an eye on academic activities in school.
