One of the widely discussed problems nowadays has been related to the increasing of fake news on social media. It can cause hatred between certain social groups and it can make people mistakenly avoid some actions. This essay will investigate these situations and their solutions.

One of the main effects of disinformation might be conflicts of groups with different religions, ethnicity or political views. Every person anyway related to one of these groups and they may have some neutral or negative opinions about each other. As well as stereotypes have any basis even in the form of fake news it triggers people to the protests, fights or even worse violence. For example, muslim minority in Myanmar faced cleansing campaign by military after being called in false news on Facebook.Another problematic impact is people avoiding to use new technologies, refusing to eat some products or afraid to get vaccinated. A lot of people pretending to be experts or doctors on media deceiving people that something usual is harmful for them. For instance, some elderly still believe that government try to poison us with fast food.

The solution of these issues is checking the reliability of the information. Government need to verify the dangerous news that go viral in the internet and if it is fake disprove them immediately. Furthermore, the official media should provide information first so there will not be misunderstandings. People also must be able to identify unverified sources of information themselves.

In conclusion, fake news lead to the conflicts between social groups and it can make people to prohibit usual things and actions. The problem can be solved by checking the information by the government and by the people themselves.
