It is hard disagree that cars have greatly changed our lives. Today, it is difficult to imagine our cities without large highways, parking lots, traffic lights, and constant noise from cars. But how true it is?

This significant change in our way of life can be considered from different angles. First of all, from the point of view of safety and convenience for ourselves. “Injuryfacts” statistic show that hundreds of times more people die in car accidents every year than when using other types of transport. A large number of different cars complicates traffic on the roads and in the city, can create unpredictable circumstances and accidents. So, from this point of view, the rules of ownership and use of cars on the road should change as their number increases. It is important to create rules that would regulate movement, speed and interaction with other vehicles and people in the city.

According to the World Health Organization and the Environment, vehicle pollutants harm our health and contain greenhouse gases that cause climate change. Burning gasoline and diesel fuel creates harmful byproducts like nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, benzene, and formaldehyde. From this point of view, it is important to regulate laws that will help increase the number of people who own electric and hybrid vehicles. Thus, by motivating people to buy cars with alternative energy, it is possible to significantly affect climate change and the harmful impact of cars on the environment.

So, these are only two sides of this issue. But I am sure that with the help of rules and new laws, it is possible to have a significant impact on the situation on the roads, to start better controlling the situation. Reduce the number of deaths in car accidents, as well as reduce the impact of cars on the environment.
