The first astronaut to step on the moon believed that it will be the initial progress for the society to live on other planets. However, there is not much difference in the chance for individuals to settle in other planets. I partially agree that with the advancement in technology in the near future there are still hope in most people to reside in a place other than the earth.
To commence with, many countries had been motivated on space experimentation after the successful landing of a man on the moon. Moreover, in the past years numerous research had been accomplished victories by examine the outer space. In recent years, few countries even landed on planet Mars and are investigating the probabilities of existence for the future. To cite an example, SpaceX developed by Elon Musk are currently monitoring planets that have possible resources for humans to live.
However, Scientist and researchers have still not found the possibility of water and air in any planets even after decade long search on moon and any other planets. Furthermore, it is proven that gravitation level is different on each planet such that it will be very difficult to find a planet similar to Earth. Although the expenditure by the government in space research is increasing there are still no signs of development by the experts. For instance, billions of dollars are invested by the Indian government to continue on the space exploration in Mars with less chance of survival.
In conclusion, researchers should focus on enhancing the living condition in Earth while concentrating outer-space experimentation.
