Overall, it can be immediately noticed that American educational establishments became the most popular options among Vietnamese students at the end of the presented time frame, though being the least popular at the beginning. In contrast, although initially russian and French schools and universities were the most preferable educational clusters for said students, their popularity did not reach the same level as the American ones in the end.
From 2000 to 2005, russia and France that had 3 million and approximately 3.6 million students respectively, showed a steady decrease in the number of Vietnamese students in their universities. Between 2005 and 2010 , France represented a stability with a subsequent significant movement from 3.6 million to around 4.6 million students, while russia continued to decline until 2010 and ended that year with a 1.9 million index of students from Vietnam. Last five years russia had a ceaseless rise and in 2015 they had approximately 2.5 million Vietnamese students.
In presented time frame, from 2000 to 2015, America demonstrated an upward trend. First, between 2000 and 2005, they had slight increase in the students from Vietnam from 1.5 million to 2 million. After that, next five years, America had a gradual growth and by the end of 2010 year it became the most popular country for Vietnamese students. However, even after they become the first in 2010 among all presented counties their line didn’t stop. Between 2010 and 2015, America made a noticeable jump from 3 millions Vietnamese students to 5 million students.
