Many people believe the governments should invest money for exploring new life in other planets while others argue that spending money on this unnecessary. I agree with the latter view for some reason.
Firstly, some people argue that investing in space exploration is beneficial for scientific and technological development. Research was carried out by scientists has led to inventions that are now used in daily life such as satellite communication, gps system, and weather forecasting. In addition, exploring other planets may help scientists gain deeper understanding of the universe and discover new forms of life.
In the other hand, governments should focus their financial resources on solving urgent problems on Earth rather than searching for life on other planets. Many countries still face serious issues such as poverty, unemployment, and poor education systems. These problems directly affect people’s quality of life and require immediate attention. If governments spend large amounts of money on space exploration, fewer funds will be available for improving public services. Therefore, focusing on space research instead of basic human needs is an irresponsible way to spend public funds.
In conclusion, although space exploration has some benefits, there are many serious problems on Earth that need immediate solutions. I believe that governments should spend public money on improving people’s lives rather than searching for life on other planets.
