Overall, the export sale of global tourism has risen gradually from 2000 to 2015, while the amount of meat products showed the opposite way and the figure for exported dairy products fluctuated.
In 2000, the largest turnover of Southland’s export was universal tourism, at over 8 billion. The profit of this business has grown by approximately 1 billion during 15 years and has been predicted to reach the highest number at about 10 billion.
In contrast, meat products were sold the least among three overseas in each period. Making only 6 billion in the first period and this business dropped down to over 5.5 billion after 15 years. It is expected to decline to 5 billion in 2025.
In addition, dairy manufacture’s trend seemed unsure. It started at 7 billion in 2000 and after 15 years, the revenue of this business almost hit the highest point of the profitable. This trend is forecasted to fall slightly by 0.5 billion in 2025.
