Overall, it is clear that the three means of communication experienced different trends in the time period. While the number of inquiries made in person and by telephone showed an upward trend, inquiries made by email or letter showed a downward trend.
It can be clearly seen from the graph that the number of research projects made in person started at 400 in January 2001; after that, this figure witnessed a considerable growth to 800 in March. Then, though the figure showed a very small fall, the figure again increased and reached an all-time high of 1200 in June 2001.
Meanwhile, telephone explorations began at 800 in January 2001, which remained the same until April. But afterwards, there was a significant increase in the number of telephone inquiries from 800 to 1100 in the following months. The letter or email inquiries stood at 600 in January, which remained almost unchanged till March; thereafter, they declined moderately and reached a low of 200 by June.
