In this modern era, one of the most serious problems relate-environment recently has been the appearance of numerous plastic waste in our oceans, resulting in many negative effects on humans’ life as well as the ecosystem. This essay is going to shed light on what the main factors of this issue are before offering some efficient solutions.
To begin with, it is evident that primary factors of the polluted phenomenon in our oceans were come from humans activities. Firstly, with the development of tourist, a substantial number of visitors experienced sea travel, leading to the significant increase in the total ships in oceans. These types of transportation tend to have a few rubbish bins that can not respond to the amount of consumers’ waste during their trip. Thus, these visitors are more likely to throw trash directly into the sea, increasing plastic waste in these areas. Secondly, in some developing nations, there was a lack in the number of sufficient waste treatment system that should be equipped in many industrial companies. Take, for instance, just one year ago, the Japanese polotical leadears had to apologise for their poor-quality water treatment that caused to serious water pollution in whole Japan and even many neighboing countries including Vietnam.
Thus, realizing the urgency of this environmental problem, some effective ways are offered to resolve this issue.First, governments have to publish legal legislations about the ecological system, limiting the amount of plastic waste that was produced by businesses or personal purposes. The level of punishments have to be decided accorrding to how this behaviour affects to our ecosystem, it can be finanicial punishments or even imprisonment, ensuring people realize responsibilities for their actions. In addition, throughing educational system, teachers tend to educate children about the importance of ocean protection activities. This not raise students awareness about environmental issue, but also prevent younger generations from negative behaviours.
In summary, after analysing the main causes of the high amount of plastic production in oceans, some solutions were recommended to trackle this matter that require cooperation among citizens as well as the interference from govermental organizations.
