In some aspect it is alarming because it creates ethical concern about privacy and unequal treatment. I totally agreed that the personal data can be misused by some companies.
Firstly it can effect the privacy of a person badly because it your data is saved in database when you can given your DNA for test to any company . No one can give you a gurentee that data can not be misused. Such type of hidden information cannot be exposed to any one either in the name of job or for any post. Anyone can easily access your personal details about your health and ansestry’s disease. For Example many websites are accused to leaked the private data to other companies.
On the other hand potential discrimination can lead a great problem in a personal life and can damag the life in many aspects like an insurance company can refused your insurance policy only for the personal detail as a person has a high risk of cancer or their health issues are become major as time passes so it can cutdown your path and effect on your future. so i come to this point that i totally against about the genetic test that can exposed a person health, emotion, thinking and many other secret information.
Governmnet should take an action about this serious issue so people’s details is save in the society and they cannot face any issue or threat from other person.
