In the last two decades, there has been a significant increase in the number of birth rate in most countries. This phenomenon directly results in an exponential population, which also indirectly impacts other infrastructure problems, such as housing deficit, and environmental degradation. This essay discusses the causes, effects, and prevention steps to overcome the problems and ultimately argues in favor of the latter.
It is widely believed that spiking the childbirth rate would add more responsibility for the government in creating decent infrastructure for their citizens, including housing, and environmental aspects. The predominant issue is currently the major area in the urban center is used for the neighborhood, and it has been substantially growing each year. Therefore, there is a lack of public green spaces that could help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and also shield people from the risk of acquiring health complications caused by air infection. Besides that, the rise in population aligns with the surge of transportation needed. As a result, it elevates the pollution level, since the majority of vehicles rely on fuel.
So, to solve those problems, there should be cooperation with the government rules, for instance, Indonesia as one of the developing countries, mitigating heavy demographic bonuses by implementing “KB”, which means each family suggested having two kids as a maximum. Moreover, residential industries should be aligned with the administration in those territories to build adequate neighborhoods in the future by considering several dimensions such as open park zones.
In conclusion, the increase in inhabitants leads to an impact on multiple facets, from population surge to the housing shortage to an impurified environment. Thus, in terms of assembling living places should collaborate with the government as the lawmaker, and the business also should reflect on environmental conservation and sustainability.
