There is a trend among people for using AI assistants for daily tasks. While using those tools can lead to destroying our privacy, I believe advantages such as saving time and effort for doing tasks are more significant.
On the one hand, sharing data with AI can be dangerous. Companies which made these tools are constantly gather and analyze data from all users. For example, recently OpenAI and US Military agreed to use customer data in military purpose, which a lot of people found unethical and generally stopped using their model.
However, AI makes our life easier. People use to spend a lot of their time in oreder to find specific article, or specific answer to their questions. Now, they can do it in under 60 seconds. AI assistant tools help with effective searching any material through internet, and give it to user as an output. Eventually, this saved time and effort can be spend to family and friends.
In conlusion, while AI has negative effect, which is lack of privacy, I still believe that people are generally benefiting from it. So that’s why advantages outweight disadvantages.
