Band 5+: the large number of private cars on the roads in many parts of the world has led to serious problems of pollution and may contribute to global warming. some people think that governments should spend money for the development of public transportation systems in order to help solve this problem. other think it is better to spend money for the development of electric and other types of cars that may cause less pollution

The effects of pollution have caused many impacts including possibility of global warming. These effects are linked to the numerous number of personal vehicles which use the road. As a result, some individuals believe the country should focus more funds on development of shared transportation to help solve this problem while others think the money should be invested in innovation of power generated and other models of cars which may emit less pollution. This essay will provide arguments why the government should put more effort on development of both public transportation and power generated and other types of cars which are believed to cause minimum pollution then give my opinion.

It believed that one way of causing pollution is by vehicles spending long hours on poorly developed roads. The cars together with large trucks are squeezed in these poor infrastructure and take long before they reach their destinations. They emit fumes containing nitrous oxide which is very harmful to human health. To help lessen this effect, the government need to ensure that the roads are in good condition and are large enough to accommodate the number of cars. This will make vehicles move faster and reduce their time on road as a result, less nitrous oxide is emitted into the air.

On the other hand, power generated and other types of cars which emit minimal pollution should be considered. These cars are faster and spend less time on road, they reach their destinations faster and don’t cause traffic jams, which are all believed to be the best way to reduce pollution. However, the vehicles are expensive to maintain and need to use roads which are in good condition. The government should come together with other private organizations to achieve this task for the benefit of every citizen.

In conclusion, pollution is harmful to human health and every effort should be put forward to lessen its effect. For instance, ensuring that public transportation is well developed and maintained to reduce the number of hours spent by cars on roads as well as investing in power generated and other types of cars which cause less pollution. I believe the government should work together with private organizations to come up with the money in order to help meet this target.
