Introduction The maps illustrate the transformation of the ground floor of an art gallery between 2005 and the present day.
Overview Significant changes have been made to the layout of the gallery, with the addition of new facilities and the reorganization of exhibition rooms.
Body Paragraph 1 In 2005, the entrance of the gallery led directly to Exhibition Room 4. Adjacent to it was the gallery office with a receptionist. A café was situated at the top left corner of the floor. The stairs near the entrance led to the upper floors. Exhibition rooms were numbered from 1 to 3 and were aligned vertically next to the stairs.
Body Paragraph 2 In contrast, the present-day layout features an Entrance Hall at the entrance, which also houses a receptionist desk. A Children’s area and Temporary exhibition space have been added near the entrance. The gallery now also includes a vending machine and a shop near the stairs, which are still present along with a new lift for accessibility. Exhibition rooms remain numbered from 1 to 3 but are now adjacent to both stairs and lift.
