The government spending would be more valuable if it is allocated to improve the quality of public services than space project. I believe that the public service will be more impactfull for a nation development.
The space project requires a big funding to fulfill the high technology and human resources needed. There are some facilities that should be build, namely space station and rocket manufacturing place. In addition to the facilities building, the high technology computer and equipments should be provided. The resources will be wastefull if no human resources capable to operate. The big expenditure should be prepared to improve the capability of people that involved in the space project such as astrounot, technician, operators, etc. The National American Space Agency (NASA) for instance, need a lot of investation from the authority to conduct a research regarding the possibility of growing plants in mars. The public services that directly used by the citizens must be the priority of a government. The basic needs such as education and health must be provided to ensure the the nation quality. Schools building and facilites for elementary and secondary level must be exist in every district. Besides the facilities, the teacher distribution must be similiar so it can guarante the equality of education in every region. The health facilities and medical technician for doctors and nurses also must be exist to service the citizens.
To sum up, the public services as the basic needs of the citizens must be the priority of the authority rather than a space project. The space project may be conducted if the state income have already covered the primary and secondary expenditure.
