Jail is the usual way in most states to resolve the issue of offense. But, a more powerful answer is to offer persons a superior learning. I strongly agree that education is the best and correct choice.
On the one hand, we have many motives about why imprisonment is widely used. First of all, sending criminals into the jail shows justice system in the country, to provide citizens or family who was damaged by the offenders that government on the side of righteous. Second reason is to stop future crimes, because with the sentence, in people minds create barrier from worse things, they understand earlier that if human will do unlawful things, they will punish by the law. Also, prisons can separate dangerous people from society, which gives safety to ordinary citizens and reduces fear in daily life.
On the other hand, I believe that we can reduce crime through education. When people have access to learning, they can find better jobs and opportunities, which helps them to avoid illegal actions. For example, if a young person learns useful skills at school or college, he will more likely focus on building a good career instead of thinking about stealing or violence. Education also teaches people moral values, patience, and respect for others, which are very important for a safe and peaceful society.
In conclusion, although jail plays a role in protecting people, education gives a more lasting and human solution to crime. I truly believe that learning can change people’s future and create a better, safer world for everyone.
