It is believed that work plays the most important role in person’s life and life would be meaningless if they didn’t have a professional fulfillment. From my perspective, I partly agree with this view based on some major reasons that are explained in this essay.
On the one hand, having the career plays a crucial role in person’s life, which hepls individuals set the purposion of life and contribute to the development of well-being. When people have jobs, they tend to having clear daily goals to work towards. As a results, their life can be constructed and orientated. Unless this, many people can feel empty and lose motivation, it is easy to see through emotional struggles of peolpe who are long-term unemployed. Beside that, having sustainable career is also the primary source of financial security to almost people, helping them can afford basic necessities such as accomodation, food. Thanks to financial stress, peole can focus futher on different aspects of life.
On the other hand, relationships which is family, best friend, neibour offer a deeper sense of fulfillment comparing to any career. Beyond this, personal hobbies and passions are equally powerful sources of meaning. Pursuing activities such as music, painting, or sports brings genuine joy and self-expression, and many individuals find that these pursuits connect them with their true selves in ways their careers never could.
In conclusion, while a fulfilling career undeniably contributes to a sense of purpose and financial security, I firmly believe that life’s meaning is not solely defined by one’s professional achievements. Meaningful relationships and personal passions are equally vital components of a well-rounded and fulfilling life.
