Band 4+: The most important thing about a job is how much money you earn in that job. Do you agree or disagree?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Money is one of the essential things we need in life as humans to meet up with our daily needs. There is a controversy about our earns being the most relevant thing about the job we do. In my own opinion I disagree to this controversial believe. I thing there are other important factors to consider when searching an appointment.

Firstly, one of the greatness need of all individuals is a sense of satisfaction, which I think should be the primary thing to be considered on employment.fulfillment can be applied in different aspects which an example could be a convince work task or work load and working hours are other things that can outweigh renumeration. Take for instance a colleague who is a nurse applied for a job interview at lagos, a big city in Lagos heard that the payment for nurses there is higher than what is recieved in her state, she applied for work on seeing vacancies, was called for interview, and appointment later was given. With excitement based on the payment she saw, she resigned and went there, just to realized that they work for 12hrs there compared to where she was that was 8hrs, there was much traffic there and the cost of living there was higher, this brought frustration so she had to quit the work and go back to her town to start all over again.

Also, another basic to consider that is more relevant is than finance is conducive working environment(considering the location, the security etc) the safety of the individual is very important because anything that affect life which deminish ability to function.’ health is wealth’ there are some occupation that comes with serious hazard.

Lastly, human resources, that is in terms of relationship with others, is team work a problem in the organisation? Are they people able to help each other to achieve the industrial goals. These are the things which could be more essential than money.

In conclusion, despite the fact that what is remitted for work is relevant, but there are other major things that needs to be prioritised, which includes working environment and work load.
