In today’s globised world there is a widespread idea that the number of children to read books for fun has dropped dramatically inrecent years. There are some resons for this case. And we can motivate children in some ways to read more. In this essay, I am going to write about thesem in the following paragraphs.
There are several reasons why this problem is happening. Firstly, parents do not encourage their children to read books. For example, most parents prefer giving phones to their kids instead of books. Another reason is that children spend too much time on social media. This makes them less interested in reading.
To solve this problem, schools and parents should work together. Schools can organize book reading competitions. Moreover, parents should give books as gifts instead of gadgets. These actions will increase children’s interest in reading.
In conclusion, it is true that children have not paid attention much to read books recent years because of spending too much time on Internet and using Artificial Intelligence. I think the most effective ways are parents control over Internet time and contents to motivate children to read more.
