Overall, it is apparent that the harbor witnessed significant changes with the increase of docks, passenger ferries and the introduction of various facilities and paths.
According to the map, in 2000, the Porth harbor was quite simple and had fewer amenities. There was only a single dock below the public beach to welcome passenger ferries while in this day a new one has been constructed, next to the old dock. Moreover, in the western section, the locations of facilities remain nearly the same; however, there is a small change: another place for toilets and showers has been built between two car parks. Noticeably, the main road now has paths connecting to two car parks from the west to the east instead of south to north in the year 2000 regarding the bigger ones.
Additionally, the Marina and Fishing boat experienced a place exchange, making it size also different, the Marina has become bigger and the fishing boat was moved to a smaller area. Moreover, the disused castle has been demolished and rebuilt into a hotel accompanied by a public beach turning into a private one in order to attract more visitors. Finally, large cafes and shops have been located adjacent to the to the west of the lifeboat and a road has one path running directly to the hotel, which makes it more convenient for tourists in this day.
