The given map illustrates the current condition of the South-West Airport and presents a proposed redevelopment plan showing how it is expected to look in the following year.
The currunt condition of south-west airport, there are two gates one for arrivals and another for departures. while, in daeparture side in the left corner there is a Check-in Counter and in right side a cafe. Intially, their is no cafe or counter present in arrivals section. People who are departing and arriving will have to go through passport control, those who are departing will need to go through security control, and the ones who are arriving will have to go through customs. Additionally, There are eight gates available in total, with a walkway connecting gates one to three.
The proposed redevelopment has some major changes done in whole Airport. The year after, Both arrivals and departures sections will now have two doors each, there is now a bag drop section in left side along with cafe which is in front part, and the check-in counter will be in opposite side of bag drop section in the departure area. In addition, as there is Security passport control section and Passport Control Customs present which is same in departures and arrivals sections, but now new shops were open in after security passport control in departures side. After, the gates which are only eight available will now increased to eighteen, and a new sky train added. In arrivals section, their is cafe on right end, there is now addition of ATM which next to cafe and a care hire section near the exit.
To sum up, the airport is going through a massive change in the upcoming year. More facilities and services will be given by them for passengers travelling. Moreover, it will have more gates, which indicates that more flights will come and go.
