Nowadays the position of woman has changed a great deal in many societies but these societies cannot claim to have achieved gender equality and it has become a widely discussed issue. Although many improvements have been made in terms of gender equality, I agree to a large extent that complete equality has not yet been achieved.
To begin with, one of the main improvment is number of educated womens increasing however, the number of working women has also increased. This means that womens can develop their academic skils more comfortable than fifty year ago. Another significant point which I want to highlight is awareness of womens right rose. For instance, eqiual pay, education right, job opportunities, legal rights and fair treatment. Those trends have attention from such as institions, schools and governments. As a result of these, womens place in society has put in order currently.
I believe that these are very positive evolutions but those societies who cannot claim to have achieved gender equality still have impacts on them. For example there are womens who cannot earn equal money when comparing with man. For example, there are women who don’t earn equal pay with men. Moreover, problems still exist regarding their access to high-ranking positions. Secondly, violence againts woman remains a serious problem. If government put any law to protect their female citizen, the fear of legal repercussions could reduce the number of violent incidents. Consequently, there are progress but it is still not enough to achieve gender equality.
Tos um up, gender equality between female and male is still challenging. At that point, governments and repercussions should get consider to solve this issue by taking effective measures.
