More than half a decade ago the role of women in a lot of communities has differed enormously. However, these communities cannot assert equality between genders. This essay totally agrees with this statement, as women are not being paid the same as men and their work is usually unnoticeable.
To begin with, females are underpaid compared to males doing the same job. Unfortunately, numerous corporations and organizations have systems that are outdated and hire women to take advantage of them as they will do the same job for a lesser pay. Also, women are hopeless about this phenomenon and cannot take action as these big companies found a legal loophole to avoid lawsuits. Furthermore, the International Women Rights organization has taken steps with the help of female lawyers and employees to finally make a change against this injustice.
Moreover, women in the workforce are facing the behavior of their hard work going unnoticed. Men have the tendency of dismissing the labor done by women colleagues either to intimidate them or to shake their confidence, even though the work is greatly better than the males. For example, a peer reviewed article that was published recently shows that 78% of men downgrade the effort of women in most fields, especially healthcare and teaching, due to being underqualified compared to them in addition to having a hard ego that does not accept defeat.
To sum up, gender equality has always been a topic of discussion that has not been able to be achieved. Usually that is due to some serious issues, mainly which are inequality in salary and lack or recognition.
