The prevention of health problems and illness is far more crucial than treatment and medicine, and I firmly believe that government funding should reflect this.
When focusing on health globally, there are numerous demographics who are suffering from illnesses. Not only does the pain take control over those patients, but it also comes with mental obstacles. Disregarding the seriousness of the illness, every patient will have the memory of their health engraved in their minds, which they’ll mostly to remember forever. The government should consider funding to limit the number of ill patients as much as possible, for people to experience less illness in the long run.
In addition, the economic weight it has on one’s health prevention is a lot less compared to serious, hardcore treatment and medicine. When it comes to surgeries and severe treatments, facing problem of being able to afford it is inevitable. Everyone deserves a fair support, yet a majority of people still face financial difficulties, receiving less support will always remain left behind from the people who are privileged enough to afford it all. If prevention is more affordable for more people, and the prevention successes, the outcome of the society will be superior because fewer people will face financial difficulties. Therefore, the society with a stable economy will become more prosperous.
Therefore, for the reason of a fair economic system for all and to provide a healthy lifestlye for more population, I completely agree on the fact that the government funding should reflect the topic.
