There are a number of solutions which should be implemented by society by providing rehabilitation and by authorities by creating funding programs to tackle this growing concern.
The obvious reason for the homelessness is the increasing rate of unemployment. In major cities, there are thousands of job applicants for one job application, and big companies are taking approaches to laid-off employees who are not multitaskers. These factors contribute to poverty and joblessness that push people to end up living on the streets as they cannot afford monthly rent. Besides that, the majority of individuals are homeless because they are addicted to drugs and alcohol. As a result, many of them struggle financially and to function in normal society, which leads to homelessness.
There are effective solutions which can be implemented by society and government. One way to tackle this is by carrying out a fund program for homelessness persons. The authority can create a housing program, foodbank and hospital facilities which will hopefully ensure them to live a normal life. Another proactive measure by society would be rehabilitation and community services for people who are addicted to substance uses. This solution would hopefully help them using drugs which can be beneficial for them to go back into society and to find a job.
